Hi All From new member Steve Briggs Just attended the Open Day today and 'knocked out' by the possibilities to fish for all game types. Thanks to all the club officials who organised todays event. Big thank you to Dylan and Paul who gave us all plenty of guidance and advice. Can't wait to get stuck in.

I second that.
As a new member myself, today's open day was invaluable. Not just in terms of seeing the waters available, but also having 'the bible' and it's authors there to point out the do's and don'ts was great. it is evident that a great deal of work went into the organising of the open day (although not it would seem, the coach selection) so a personal 'thanks' to the team from me too! I'd also like to thank everyone connected with the club for the warm welcome. Everyone I've met so far has been friendly and helpful.
So, just so I've got this straight in my head... A maximum of 5 anglers are allowed on The Chainpool every day except Tuesday, unless it's raining. The first three have to sign the clock and the second two must alternate every 10 minutes until dusk...when they can all night fish for sea trout as long as they are not carrying any fishing equipment. I think that's it.

I have just joined CADAC following a move to South Cheshire from Cumbria. I have fished the Lune and Eden rivers for the past 15 years and was just getting to really know the beats. Now I start all over again on the Dee. Thanks to the committee members who gave up their time to show us the beats on the open day - much appreciated.
